Bitcoin is predicted to grow 20 times in the near future
Сейлор" href="https://noworries.media/biography/majkl-dzh-sejlor/" data-bio-id="3672">Michael Say lor, co-founder of MicroStrategy and self-proclaimed «bitcoin maximalist,» predicted that the value of the world’s first cryptocurrency will continue to rise. According to Saylor, investors can expect BTC $74,809.02 Bitcoin 1.20% Market capitalization $1.48 trillion VOL. 24 hours $3.53 billion to grow 20 times in the near future.
«The next logical step for bitcoin would be to increase by 10 times, and then another 10 times. In the end, I’m sure that cryptocurrency exchanges will quickly come to their senses and realize that bitcoin is indeed the dominant asset in this area,» said Saylor.
At the same time, the analyst rejects altcoins. Bitcoin is «the only institutional-level investment asset in the crypto space ,» Michael Saylor believes . The entrepreneur noted that this year alone, bitcoin’s dominance has increased from about 40% to 48%.
«When stablecoins and tokens disappear, this long-term dominance will reach 80% ,» he added.
Saylor has repeatedly argued that some traditional fiat currencies are subject to inflationary pressures due to economic instability. Unlike conventional money and altcoins, BTC is resistant to inflation because its supply is limited. Bitcoin can become a viable alternative for individuals and companies in countries most exposed to the economic crisis, the head of MicroStrategy is convinced.
Peter Brandt, a popular analyst in the crypto community, shares a similar view, having correctly predicted the crypto winter of 2018. Brandt «buried» all tokens in absentia, except for bitcoin: «Bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency that will manage to finish this marathon. The rest of [криптовалюти], including Ethereum, are fakes or scum.»
Sailor and Brandt shared their thoughts against the backdrop of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) «hunt» for illegally issued securities in the form of cryptocurrencies. More than 60 coins have already been blacklisted by the regulator. Experts believe that the list of problematic cryptocurrencies will grow.
