Brave Browser Launches Support for Solana Blockchain Applications

1:14 pm, July 13, 2022

Brave, a browser focused on anonymity and cryptocurrency services, has announced the launch of support for applications based on the Solana blockchain — the browser developers have integrated support for Solana dApps.

According to the announcement published on Brave’s official website, the integration of Solana dApps (decentralized applications based on blockchain technology) «will make decentralized finance (DeFi) and Web3 more accessible to users.» Currently, Solana dApps can only be used in the desktop version of Brave, but the company’s representatives promised to connect dApps for the mobile version in the near future so that smartphone owners can «experience all the benefits of a decentralized client application.»

As a reminder, Solana has recently developed a particularly secure Saga phone for the cryptocurrency, which will interact with Web3 services and various decentralized platforms such as dApps. The new smartphone will be called Saga. Another important advantage will be an open SDK (software development kit), which will allow developers to adapt their programs more easily.
