Chainalysis: Ukrainians earned $ 2.7 billion in cryptocurrency revenue in 2021

Analytical company Chainalysis has reported that US cryptocurrency investors have outperformed the entire global community, including the UK and Germany, in terms of profit. And they did it by a huge margin.

The authors of the report note that the global use of cryptocurrencies continues to gain momentum. In the United States, there has been a significant increase in total estimated revenue — in 2021, it grew by 476% compared to 2020, when the figure reached $ 8.1 billion.

In addition, according to the report, in 2021, American crypto investors received a record realized profit of $ 46.9 billion, outperforming the entire global community by a huge margin.

The United Kingdom with $ 8.1 billion and Germany with $ 5.8 billion follow with a large margin. In Ukraine, the figures are more modest, but also significant within the country’s economy — $ 2.7 billion.
