Cloudflare is going to improve the Ethereum blockchain for the future of the Internet

Cloudflare has announced plans to launch full-fledged nodes for validating Ethereum transactions. The purpose of such actions is to evaluate and study the efficiency, network speed, and block filling management in networks based on the Proof-of-Stake algorithm. The data obtained will be used to discuss with the ETH development community.

To do this, Cloudflare will need to buy ETH to use the coins for staking. Cloudflare does not disclose how many validators it wants to host at its facilities. Their blog says that the nodes will be deployed in the coming months.

As a reminder, the Cloudflare CDN service announced the launch of a gateway in the Ethereum blockchain for the first time back in 2019.
