Coca-Cola will develop a smartphone — it will be red and named ColaPhone

According to an Ice Universe insider, who was one of the first to predict the emergence of the trend for smartphones with waterfall screens and predicted the appearance of bangs in the iPhone X, Coca-Cola is working on developing its own smartphone. Ice Universe wrote about this on its Twitter page, attaching an image of the future device.

According to the insider’s photos, the smartphone will be made in red, and the Coca-Cola logo will be applied on the back. The device will be equipped with a dual main camera and LED flash. There is currently no information from official sources on the technical characteristics of the phone, which, according to Ice Universe, will be called ColaPhone.

It is unlikely that Coca-Cola developed the smartphone on its own. Most likely, the company has partnered with one of the tech giants that specializes in mobile devices. However, it is not known which company has become Coca-Cola's partner at the time of writing.

In early August, representatives of Coca-Cola announced the start of cooperation with the Polygon blockchain: the developers have already presented the NFT in the form of a Coca-Cola bottle. At that time, the American brand expressed gratitude to its fans for their support «throughout the year of Coca-Cola's journey through the digital world.» Earlier in the summer, Coca-Cola launched its own NFT collection Coca-Cola Pride, dedicated to the LGBT community. The limited edition of 136 pieces was created in collaboration with Rich Mnisi, a fashion designer and leading advocate for LGBTQIA rights in Africa.
