A blockchain analyst under the pseudonym Eye has announced possible insider activity in the highest circles of the US government that could affect the crypto market. According to him, a trader on the Hyperliquid platform earned more than $ 150 million by opening short positions just before Donald Trump’s announcement of 100% tariffs on imports from China. Eye’s investigation indicates that these trades could have been made through prior access to confidential information from the White House.

The analyst names presidential aides Zach Witkoff and Chase Guerro as possible suspects, who, according to him, had direct contacts with high-ranking officials and could pass on data to a limited number of traders.
