Craig Wright provides further evidence that he is a bitcoin developer

3:38 pm, February 19, 2024

The sister of Australian scientist Craig Wright presented evidence of his connection with Сатоші Накамото" href="https://noworries.news/biography/satoshi-nakamoto/" data-bio-id="4232">Satoshi Nakamoto.

Danielle DeMorgan said that in his youth, Wright often walked in the park dressed as a ninja. His brother, a programmer, had a lot of computers in his room, and he would tell his sister that he was working on a very important project. All this seems to indirectly point to Wright’s connection with Satoshi Nakamoto, the witness insists.

Craig Wright is famous for the fact that he has been trying to claim his rights to the authorship of the Bitcoin white paper and the creation of the world’s first cryptocurrency for years. Another witness, manager Mark Archbold, stated in court that he had repeatedly communicated with Craig Wright about digital currencies back in 2005. The third witness, patent attorney Serian Jones, announced that Craig Wright could be Satoshi Nakamoto, as he has developed several patents related to blockchain technology.

The lawyers of the Crypto Open Patent Alliance declared the information from the defendant’s witnesses irrelevant and unable to prove that Craig Wright is Satoshi Nakamoto. Earlier, Craig Wright himself completed his testimony in the UK High Court in the COPA lawsuit, which seeks to have the programmer banned from claiming copyright to Bitcoin.

Last October, X users noticed the first post on @satoshi's page in 5 years. It seemed that Satoshi Nakamoto had returned to the public space and was ready to communicate with cryptophiles. After a while, it became known that the information was fake. The verified Satoshi Nakamoto account, which has more than 60,000 users, actually belongs to Craig Wright’s friend Andy Rowe.
