Crypto wallet developer Ledger leaked users' personal data due to digital vulnerability
Cryptocurrency service Ledger has reported a leak of personal data caused by a vulnerability in its payment partner Global-e. The incident was confirmed by blockchain investigator ZachXBT.
According to him, the contact information of Ledger customers was leaked. The letter received by the victims states that Global-e «detected suspicious activity» in part of its infrastructure. Access was then blocked, and independent digital forensics experts were engaged to investigate.
Global-e confirmed the fact of unauthorized access to personal data, including user names and contact information. The company said the threat was localized and the system was under additional control.
As a reminder, the Cloudflare failure that occurred in November 2025 affected about 20% of global Internet traffic. Among the projects affected by the Cloudflare outage were Blockchain.com, Coinbase, Ledger, BitMEX, Toncoin, Arbiscan, and DefiLlama.
