Cryptocurrency bitcoin wallet sent to the moon

The spacecraft is expected to land on the moon on February 23. Representatives of the crypto exchange said that the mission demonstrates the potential of bitcoin and blockchain technology in creating a«limitless financial system beyond the Earth

The United Launch Alliance (ULA) Vulcan rocket was launched with the support of Astrobotic. The crypto wallet was integrated into the Peregrine-1 lander, which contains about twenty cargoes from seven countries.

«If the mission is successfully completed, it will go down in history as the first lunar landing of this level in 50 years,» BitMEX said in a statement.
