Cryptocurrency funds raised a record $ 47.2 billion in 2025
In 2025, the total inflow of funds into exchange-traded cryptocurrency products (ETPs) amounted to $ 47.2 billion, according to a report by analytical company CoinShares. This result is only slightly lower than the record $ 48.7 billion recorded a year earlier. The United States remains the main source of capital, accounting for $ 42.5 billion, although this is 12% less than in 2024.
The most dynamic growth was observed in Germany — from an outflow of $ 43 million in 2024 to an inflow of $ 2.5 billion in 2025. Canada also saw a trend reversal: an inflow of $ 1.1 billion after a loss of $ 603 million a year earlier. Switzerland recorded a moderate increase of 11.5%, reaching $ 775 million in investments.
Bitcoin fund inflows decreased by 35%, from $ 41.7 billion in 2024 to $ 26.9 billion in 2025. At the same time, products based on leading altcoins showed significant growth: Ethereum-ETP raised $ 12.7 billion (138%), XRP — $ 3.7 billion (500%), and Solana — $ 3.6 billion (1000%).
Interest in other digital assets outside of bitcoin and the top altcoins declined, with total inflows of $ 318 million, down 30% from the previous period. In the first week of 2026, crypto products showed positive dynamics, attracting $ 582 million, compensating for the previous week, when investors withdrew $ 446 million.
