Such dynamics indicate the restoration of major players' confidence in bitcoin after a two-month period of sales, which lasted from October 12 to November 30 and reduced the total balance of whales by more than 113,000 BTC.

Santiment experts have published a chart showing the changing behavior of different groups of investors. They identify five key phases: in the «green zone,» large players accumulate the asset, while retail investors sell, which usually supports price growth; the «blue zone» is characterized by the simultaneous accumulation of both whales and retail traders, which is the phase in which analysts believe the market is currently in. the «yellow zone» means unpredictable dynamics, the «orange zone» indicates massive sales, and the «red zone» is when small investors buy up the fall, while large investors take profits, which often precedes a decline in the exchange rate.

According to analysts, the current return of large wallets to buying BTC may indicate that the market has stabilized after the fall fluctuations. However, they warn that the simultaneous activity of retail investors may make the trend less stable. If small players begin to take profits and the whales continue to increase their positions, this could create conditions for a new stage of growth, similar to the surge seen in September 2025.

Experts also recalled that back in November, CryptoQuant analysts reported a tendency of large bitcoin wallets to sell and take profits. Thus, the December resumption of accumulation may indicate a change in market behavior and preparation for a new cycle of asset value increase.
