Zuckerberg attaches legs to avatars in virtual reality from Meta
Very few people are more excited about the future of the Meta meta-universe than billionaire CEO and co-founder Mark Zuckerberg. Indeed, the addition of legs to the Meta universe was more resonant than the launch of the new Quest Pro VR headset. Zuckerberg explained that Meta will use artificial intelligence algorithms to predict angles and depict the positions of the user’s «whole body.» However, the «demonstration» of legs in Horizon Worlds will be a «modeled image at a specific moment» rather than a complete option.
Meta’s competitors, of course, did not miss the opportunity to troll Zuckerberg and use it for their own marketing purposes:
By the way, Meta’s developers themselves criticize their own virtual reality Horizon Worlds — there are too many technical errors and problems with image quality. The primitive graphics were also noticed by users in France and Spain, who were the first to get access to it in mid-August.
Meta is placing big bets on Spain, as the corporation has decided to invest more than a billion dollars in the construction of a giant data center in the country. In addition, a new Meta Workers' Hub will be built in Madrid in the near future.
«Spain is at the forefront of European technology. The country benefits from two strong technology centers: Barcelona and Madrid. As our company prepares to develop virtual reality, we are putting Spain at the center of our plans,» Meta Vice President Javier Olivan said in the summer
