Do Kwon wants FBI to return stolen cryptocurrency to him

A member of the Terraform Labs community said he accidentally received $ 1.5 million in Luna cryptocurrency from the company. On his Twitter profile, Le even created a thread explaining what happened and refuting all the official accusations made by Terraform Labs. Le calls the situation «unique» and wants to discuss the problem with tax advisors first.

The man has already complained that he is being threatened not only with lawsuits but also with physical violence. The crypto community almost unanimously supports Le and mocks Do Kwon, advising the Luna creator to «personally ask the FBI» how the search for $ 1.5 million is going.

At the moment, Kwon is in Serbia. If it turns out that he is indeed there, South Korea must come up with an effective legal mechanism to request the extradition of the Terraform Labs founder. Although South Korea has concluded bilateral extradition treaties with 31 countries, Serbia is not on the list. However, South Korea has also concluded a much broader multilateral extradition treaty with the Council of Europe, to which Serbia is also a signatory. In theory, this increases the chances of the Korean authorities bringing Kwon to justice.
