According to the documents, Kwon is considered to be the sole owner of the company, and the former CEO of Chai Corporation, Han Chang-joon, is listed as a co-director. It is believed that Kwon and Han used their Korean passports to register the company and it is still in operation.

The request for registration was made by the Belgrade-based Gecic Law Firm. According to one of the firm’s partners, Ognjen Kolic, the client passed all standard security checks, including a search on the Interpol website.

Kolic emphasized that there is still no information about Kwon on the Interpol website, although the agency had previously put the founder of Terraform Labs on the list of most wanted criminals and notified law enforcement agencies from other countries.

Kwon is accused of organizing a multibillion-dollar fraud in connection with the collapse of the Terra ecosystem. A few days ago, the police arrested the criminal in Montenegro for forging documents. According to the country’s Criminal Code, this offense carries a maximum penalty of up to three years in prison. The U.S. Attorney’s Office has alsocharged Kwon with fraud and market manipulation, seeking his extradition. In his home country, South Korea, the TerraForm Labs founder is also accused of violating financial market laws.
