9:29 pm, May 23, 2022

A new report from the Federal Reserve says that more than a tenth of US adults invested in or used cryptocurrency last year.

The Federal Reserve reported that 12% of American adults invested in cryptocurrencies in 2021, and 3% used crypto for money transfers. 46% of Americans who bought cryptocurrency solely for investment purposes received an annual salary of $ 100,000.

The interest in cryptocurrencies became mainstream in 2020 and 2021, driven by the rapid growth that saw the price of bitcoin rise to $ 69,000. Today, BTC is trading at $ 30,000.
