Dubai Police to launch its own NFT collection
Dubai police officers have announced plans to launch their second NFT collection, following the positive feedback they received after selling their first collection of non-fungible tokens.
According to Khalid Nasser Al Razouki, Director of the Dubai Police’s Artificial Intelligence Directorate, the second NFT collection will be presented at the annual GITEX information technology exhibition in October this year. With the launch of its first non-fungible token collection, the Dubai Police became the first government organization in the UAE and one of the first in the world to develop its own NFTs.
It looks like blockchain technologies will soon be integrated into all spheres of Dubai, making the city a center of virtual reality development in 5 years. Recently, the Dubai authorities announced the launch of the Dubai Metaverse Strategy program, with plans to create 40,000 jobs and increase revenues from metaverse to $ 4 billion.
