Jim Cramer Names Cryptocurrencies That Could Collapse to Zero in 2023
Mad Money host Jim Cramer believes that the cryptocurrency market will collapse in 2023, and the financial media personality urged investors to sell all their crypto assets.
Jim Cramer believes that many cryptocurrencies, including XRP, ADA, MATIC, and DOGE, will continue to fall, and soon their rates will collapse to zero. He explained that the US Federal Reserve is tightening monetary policy and raising interest rates due to inflation, which is leading to a decrease in the amount of funds in the market. That is why, according to Cramer, cryptocurrency investors should not hold speculative assets with a high level of risk.
The Mad Money host advised cryptocurrency holders to sell their assets while it is still relevant. «Don't beat yourself up and say it’s too late to sell. The fact is that it’s never too late to get rid of something that is causing you losses. I am referring to the so-called digital assets. You still have time to 'jump ship' while crypto assets retain their value,» the cryptocurrency skeptic said.
Cramer believes that many investors are fooling themselves by looking at the inflated market capitalization of some cryptocurrencies. The TV presenter criticized the Tether stablecoin (USDT), which is pegged to the US dollar. «The capitalization of the Tether stablecoin is still $ 65 billion. There is a whole industry of cryptocurrency hype mongers who are desperately trying to keep them alive. It’s not too different from the dot-com crash,» Kramer emphasized.
Last year, the analyst compared crypto assets to gambling, but in June of this year, he changed his mind about some cryptocurrencies, considering it advisable to invest 5% of the capital in bitcoinand ether for the long term. Kramer recently said that bitcoin will fall to $ 12,000. The media personality also talks to cryptocurrency market players about the consequences of the FTX exchange collapse — recently, Kramer hosted the CEO of payment giant Visa on his show, with whom he discussed the feasibility of stricter regulation of the crypto market amid the bankruptcy of Сем Бенкман-Фрід" href="https://noworries.media/biography/sem-benkman-frid/" data-bio-id="3697">Sam Bankman-Fried.
