Ethereum cryptocurrency developer may become a Nobel Prize winner

During a recent podcast, economists Tyler Cowen and Alex Tabarrok said that Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin could be nominated for the upcoming Nobel Prize in Economics.

In their opinion, Buterin’s contribution to the crypto economy is simply incredible.

They also praised Ethereum’s successful transition from Proof-of-Work to Proof-of-Stake, comparing it to the extreme example of changing tires on a moving car in Saudi Arabia.

Tabarrok added that Buterin’s modesty and philanthropy make him a unique person who deserves this recognition.
