The head of the cryptocurrency exchange Binance reiterated his support for Elon Musk

The controversy surrounding the deal to buy the social network Twitter has long been one of the central topics of 2022 — recently, Elon Musk was even sued over it. The trial will take place this fall.

Changpeng Zhao has also voiced his opinion on the court case — in a series of recent tweets, he supported Elon Musk in his intention to reduce the cost of Twitter.

Answering a user’s question, Zhao said that in his opinion, the price for the social network in the amount of 44 billion is «somewhat overstated» (which did not prevent Binance from being one of the sponsors of the purchase).

Zhao also believes that the API for automatic posting on the social network is not what the project needs, as it gives rise to new bots, which is the problem that affected the failure of the Twitter acquisition.
