Google will start accepting Dogecoin and other cryptocurrencies as payment
The list of cryptocurrencies that Google will accept as payment for cloud services has been revealed.
Earlier, it became known that Google and Coinbase announced a partnership: the cryptocurrency exchange will help the tech giant to start processing payments in cryptocurrency. The pilot program will start in 2023, after which Google may expand the list of services that can be paid for with digital assets.
The list of cryptocurrencies supported by Google includes: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Apecoin, Litecoin, USDC, USDT, SHIB, BCH, DAI. Analysts note that the most surprising in this list is the Shiba Inu memo token.
«We're thrilled that Google Cloud has chosen Coinbase to bring Web3 technology to a new group of users and provide powerful solutions for developers,» said Brian Armstrong, Coinbase co-founder and CEO, last week.
