Gucci will start accepting cryptocurrencies as payment this month

The luxury brand Gucci will add support for cryptocurrency payments in May. Initially, the function will appear in five stores in the United States, and after the pilot launch, the possibility to pay in crypto is planned to be expanded to all stores in North America. And if the pilot starts in May, the offer will be expanded to the entire American continent within the next few months.

You will be able to pay for goods using BTC, BCH, LTC, ETH, and DOGE. In total, more than 10 different coins will be accepted, including several variants of stablecoins and SHIB and wBTC tokens.

It has also become known that the owners of NFT tokens from the SuperGucci and Gucci Grail collections will be able to access the brand’s new physical collections before they go on public sale.
