Hetzner Cloud Hosting Blocks 20% of All Solana Blockchain Nodes
on November 2, the German cloud hosting service Hetzner restricted access to servers with Solana blockchain nodes. More than 20% of the nodes in the staking lost access to the network by assets. Software developer SolBlaze urged users who use the blockchain validator with Hetzner to switch to other providers as soon as possible.
?⚠️ Hetzner just kicked off all @solana nodes hosted on their infrastructure. ⚠️?
Over 20% of stake weight on mainnet-beta is delinquent, with thousands of validators offline.

In an email posted on SolBlaze’s Twitter account, a Hetzner representative emphasized that the company’s policy clearly prohibits the use of cryptocurrencies on their servers. He noted that the restriction of access to Solana node servers «should not have come as a surprise» to the service’s customers. As an alternative, the SolBlaze team recommended Latitude, Equinix, and StackPath hosting. The developers said that the Solana Foundation offers discounts on the services of some providers.
It should be noted that most experts do not trust Solana as a safe digital asset for investment. Analysts express doubts that SOL is a reliable cryptocurrency. However, despite the technical failures of the Solana blockchain, they still predict a successful future for the SOL cryptocurrency. A few days ago, InvestAnswers experts predicted Solana’s growth by 825%, calling the cryptocurrency the main competitor of Ethereum.
At the time of writing, Solana (SOL) is trading at $ 31.08, down 0.45% from the previous day’s performance. The market capitalization of the digital asset is $ 11.17 billion, and traders made daily deals worth $ 126.89 million.
