4:15 pm, August 29, 2022

Fujian NetDragon Websoft Co., a Hong Kong-based computer technology company, announced on August 26 that it has appointed a virtual CEO. Tang Yu, a virtual humanoid robot identified by the developers as a woman, is the first case of using artificial intelligence to transform corporate governance.

Tang Yu’s task will be to optimize processes, improve the quality of work tasks and the speed of their execution. The virtual CEO will ensure a more effective risk management system. In addition, Tang Yu will play a crucial role in developing talent and ensuring the comfort of all employees.

Dr. Dejian Liu, Chairman of NetDragon Corporation (which includes Fujian NetDragon Websoft Co.), commented on the innovation: «We believe that artificial intelligence is the future of corporate governance, and Tang Yu’s appointment symbolizes our commitment to truly embrace the use of artificial intelligence to transform the way we do business. Going forward, we will continue to expand our algorithms underlying Tang Yu to build an open, interactive governance model as we gradually move to a virtual reality-based work community. This will allow us to attract a much broader talent base globally and achieve higher goals.»
