Elon Musk and Dogecoin representative unite against Twitter

5:08 pm, September 12, 2022

Dogecoin Foundation graphic designer @cb_doge posted a tweet with screenshots of comments posted by Twitter bots, thus supporting Elon Musk, who was one of the first to talk about the large number of fake accounts on the platform (bots were one of the reasons for the termination of Musk’s purchase of the social network).

«Are you asleep, Parag Agrawal?» wrote the DOGE representative, addressing Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal. Also, @cb_doge published a deepfake video with Tesla CEO Elon Musk, urging members of the cryptocurrency community to be careful and not to believe crypto scam.

At the end of last week, Twitter users also supported Elon Musk, accusing the social network of having an extremely large number of bots. Apparently, Twitter representatives «ran into» a wave of hate from users. This is how members of the crypto community expressed their indignation at the large number of bots: some wrote posts and comments, others created works of digital art. According to users, they have one goal: to urge Twitter to pay attention to the problem and change it.

Interestingly, the Twitter administration not only does not comment on the users' demands, but also plans to launch a feature that could increase the number of cryptocurrency frauds. Thus, Twitter developers have started testing a new post editing feature, and if the test is successful, everyone will be able to correct their posts within 30 minutes after publication. According to the crypto community, the editing function can be used by cryptocurrency fraudsters to post phishing links and, as a result, steal user funds.
