Elon Musk has once again advertised the Doge cryptocurrency, mocking Twitter

5:02 pm, September 14, 2022

Billionaire Elon Musk, a well-known Dogecoin supporter and Twitter enemy, has made another meme token ad and trolled Twitter representatives.

Tesla’s CEO posted a photo of a whistle in the shape of a Cybertruck that his company manufactures and told users that they can buy such «devices» for DOGE on Tesla’s website. Users believe that this was Musk’s way of ridiculing Twitter for its large number of bots. «Twitter employees should blow the whistle very hard to be heard by the management and start fighting bots,» the billionaire wrote in the comments under his post.

It was the former head of Twitter’s security service, Peter Zatko, who became the first representative of the social network to blow the whistle and talk about significant shortcomings in protecting social network users from possible hacker attacks, privacy issues, and the large number of bots on the platform. According to Musk’s lawyers, such information from the informant is another proof of Twitter’s violation of the merger agreement.

The story of Elon Musk’s fight against Twitter bots has been going on for a long time, but the social network administration has not yet taken any action to remove/restrict/check bots on Twitter. In addition to Tesla’s CEO, Twitter users, the Binance-u-tvitteri/" data-wpel-link="internal">CEO of Binance, and a representative of the cryptocurrency Dogecoin have also drawn attention to this problem of a large number of fake accounts. And yesterday, Cointelegraph identified 6 Twitter accounts with the well-known blue profile verification checkmark impersonating Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin.
