Game of Thrones cryptocurrency token collection sold out in 7 hours
The official NFT collection of the popular American fantasy series Game of Thrones was sold out in just 7 hours. However, users on Twitter complain that the non-fungible tokens «Game of Thrones: Build Your Realm» tokens are of poor quality.
The collection was launched by representatives of the Hollywood film studio Warner Brothers Home Entertainment in cooperation with the Nifty’s trading platform. The tokens were designed by an artist with the pseudonym Daz 3D. Previously, he designed the CloneX, RTFKT, and NFT Coca Cola collections.

The main thing that NFT owners are unhappy with is the appearance of the characters: their hands look like claws. Fonky Donk wrote about this on his Twitter page, attaching an image of the purchased non-fungible token.
Currently, the cost of the NFT package is 0.07 ETH ($ 93), which includes a set of tokens with different characters. When purchasing NFTs, some users experienced problems: the purchased collection did not appear in the wallet or the funds for the purchase were debited twice. However, despite complaints about the quality and difficulties during purchases, users sold out the entire collection in 7 hours. A similar situation occurred in December with Donald Trump tokens. Users openly ridiculed the 45th US president’s NFTs, calling them poorly photoshopped comic book images. In the first 12 hours of sales, all of Trump’s NFTs were sold out, but later their popularity dropped by 98%.
It is worth reminding that Game of Thrones: Build Your Realm is not the only collection created by Warner Brothers Home Entertainment based on the popular movie. At the end of October, Warner Broth. together with the blockchain company Eluvio released a collection of non-fungible tokens dedicated to the cult trilogy The Lord of the Rings.
