Telegram users can transfer USDT stablecoin in chats
The developers of the Wallet chatbot on Telegram have provided users with access to the purchase and sale of the Tether stablecoin (USDT). Cryptocurrency holders can transfer USDT to the app’s internal wallets via chats, as well as conduct transactions with the digital asset through a P2P service. The commission for peer-to-peer transactions is not charged to buyers, while for sellers it will be 0.9%.
The developers have also updated the P2P service’s user interface, simplifying access to the Trading section.
On the home page, users can find all available cryptocurrencies. To enable or disable the display of any asset, go to the Settings section. The Buy Cryptocurrency with a Bank Card and P2P Market sections are now located under the Market button on the bot’s home page.
Last year in April, BTC and TON were added to the @Wallet bot. It should be noted that Toncoin is also available for sending in chats.
Although Telegram is not directly involved in the development of the TON ecosystem, the company remains interested in this network. Thus, on its basis, Telegram has launched the Fragment blockchain auction platform for trading collectible user names. It was launched in October 2022. It should be added that the first username at the Telegram auction was sold for $ 1.4 million, and the most expensive nickname was purchased last November for $ 1.76 million.
