Users will take part in virtual reality testing by Bored Apes

The developers of the Otherside metaverse from BAYC have announced the launch of the project in test mode, which starts tomorrow. Project representatives urged fans of bored monkeys to join the test.

However, Yuga Labs emphasized that only users from Europe and North America will be able to participate in the test, while the live broadcast of the test will be available to users from any part of the world. The developers hope that by working together, they will «bring the metaverse to perfection» and will be able to announce the official launch of Otherside on July 16.

On April 30, the Otherside website announced the launch of 55,000 plots of land for sale at a fixed price of 305 APE ($ 6,700) each. However, not everything went according to plan: users were out raged by the cost of transactions, which amounted to $ 8,000 (which is more expensive than the cost of the land itself). Also, most of the buyers simply lost their money — more than $ 157 million worth of ether was burned during the mining. Then Yuga Labs reimbursed Otherside for the money lost during the mining of the land.
