The Ukrainian website Binance has published a series of questions and answers on how to get a cryptocurrency card for Ukrainian refugees. And we are sharing this information with you, although we really hope that you will not need it

Questions about ordering a card

1. What are the requirements for applying for a Binance refugee card?

а) The country of your identity verification must be Ukraine

б) You must have a phone number linked to your Binance account (you can link the number here), and the country code must be from the list of supported* European countries AND

c) You must be located in a supported* European country.

2. How do I apply for a Binance refugee card?

3. I am a Ukrainian, why can’t I apply for a Binance Refugee Card?

If you are only able to view the page to express interest in the card, please make sure you meet the following requirements:

1. Make sure you have linked a European phone number to your Binance account before applying for the card. You can link or change your phone number here: https://www.binance.com/ua/my/security.

2. Make sure you are located in a supported European country. A list of supported EEA countries can be found in the FAQ section at the link, point 3.

3. If you receive an error message: «Update your name», it means that your name contains non-Latin letters. To apply for a card, you need to enter your name in Latin letters here.

Please enter your name in Latin letters in accordance with the name in the document you used for identity verification. Once you have submitted your name change application, please wait patiently. It may take 3−7 business days to process your appeal. Once your name change appeal is processed, you will receive a notification by email or SMS.

Once your name has been successfully updated, please try ordering your Binance Refugee Card again.

4. I filled in my shipping address incorrectly, can I update it and re-order the card?

No, unfortunately, you can NOT change the shipping address after you have ordered the card.

Please make sure that the card’s delivery address is correct at the time of application. If you do not receive the Binance card, you will NOT be able to re-order the physical card. You will only be able to use the virtual card until the program is complete.

Questions about the 75 BUSD bounty

5. What is the amount of assistance available for eligible beneficiaries?

Ukrainian refugees and IDPs who meet the above requirements and are verified by our NGO partners will receive 75 BUSD (equivalent to 75 USD) per person per month for three months. The assistance is funded by Binance Charity.

6. Who is eligible to receive 75 BUSD?

Our NGO partners will assess and shortlist Ukrainian refugees and IDPs who are most in need of financial support. This includes socially vulnerable persons, representatives of racial and ethnic minorities, uninsured persons, low-income persons, the elderly and persons with poor health.

Our goal is to help those Ukrainians who are in the most difficult situation. the 3-month assistance of 75 BUSD/month is available only to those refugees who fled Ukraine after the outbreak of the war with Russia. Displaced Ukrainians who left the country before the war for other reasons will not be eligible for the program.

8. How to fill out the application form for NGOs, where to find the BUSD BEP2, BUID address?

а) How do I find my Binance User ID (BUID)?

If you are using the Binance website, log in to your account and go to [Профіль] - [Панель інструментів]. You will see your BUID next to your email address at the top of the page.

If you are using the Binance app, click on the [Профіль] icon in the top left corner. You will then see your user ID below your email address.

б) How do I find my BEP20 deposit address to get help?

To view your Binance wallet’s deposit address, go to [Гаманець] - [Огляд] - [Депозит].

Click [Депозит криптовалюти]

Select BUSD deposit and choose BSC BNB Smart Chain (BEP20). Here you can see your deposit address(details).

9. How long should a user wait for an email after contacting [email protected]?

On average, it takes 1−3 business days for a partner to respond to a standard request (answering questions about the program and sending an application form).

10. How long should a user wait after filling out the application form?

Verification takes an average of 10−14 business days (some applicants may be asked for additional documents). Please note that filling out the form does not guarantee compensation. Our partner will screen the application for the authenticity of the application and only people with the greatest need will receive financial assistance.

11. When 75 BUSD is credited, will I receive an email notification?

After the assistance is sent to BUSD, the partner will send an approval (congratulations) email to the users.
