According to the company’s website, Worldcoin will not be distributed in the United States due to regulatory uncertainty, as «the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is stepping up its crackdown on the crypto industry.» It is also unclear whether the co-founders and investors, many of whom live in the US, will be able to obtain cryptocurrency outside the country.
