Cryptocurrency through movement: another Move2Earn project allows you to earn without investment

7:16 pm, April 20, 2022

Recently, the London-based Sweatcoin project, which operates on the Move to Earn model, announced a partnership with Near Protocol. The project pays SWEAT tokens simply for steps, similar to the mega-popular STEPN.

It is worth noting that the project looks potentially viral at least in terms of the quality of investors and partners: at the moment, they have more than 600 partners among healthy organizations in the UK, and among the investors are the following funds: Spartan, Near Foundation, jump, OKX Ventures, and Do Kwon (founder of Terra).

Sweatcoin users can mine tokens just by walking around the city. Currently, they pay 1 SWEAT for 1000 steps. Movement is the only way to generate SWEAT tokens. Unlike STEPN, where the price for a pair of sneakers has long exceeded $ 1000 (and the sneakers are the ticket to enter the game), the initial investment in Sweatcoin is zero — you install the program, start walking, and get coins.

The SWEAT token serves as a payment management token within the app, but the team plans to place the token on exchanges this summer. Most likely, the team will do this without any problems, as they have already partnered with such monsters as Bitfinex.
