Ethereum cryptocurrency is predicted to reach a historic high this year

The cryptocurrency market is once again experiencing strong bullish sentiment. Against this backdrop, many analysts share their opinions on what dynamics to expect from the most popular digital assets, especially Ethereum. Representatives of the financial platform Finder conducted a survey among 32 analysts and asked them to give a forecast of the ETH price at the end of this year.

The last time the asset reached such levels was at the end of 2021, after which a prolonged bearish trend began.

Some experts have concluded that ethereum has every chance of reaching $ 2758 in a few months. However, in the second half of this year, it may begin to fall closer to $ 2300.

About 21% of respondents emphasized that the main altcoin is currently facing significant centralization risks. Another 29% believed that the global Shapella update would eventually trigger a massive sell-off in the Ethereum ecosystem. Half of the survey participants believe that Shapella will allow for a more effective approach to regulatory control.
