Cryptocurrency exchange Binance will help Elon Musk to modernize Twitter properly

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance is creating an internal unit to help the social network Twitter fight bot accounts using blockchain technology.

Commenting on the situation to the media, a Binance representative said that the exchange has assembled a team of experts to focus on how blockchain and crypto assets can be useful for Twitter. In particular, it is planned to develop solutions that prevent the proliferation of robot accounts. One of such innovations could be paid tweet publishing, an idea Musk has previously voiced as possible.

«The team is actively engaging with Elon Musk and discussing possible strategies that could help the new owner of Twitter realize his vision,» said a Binance spokesperson.

As a reminder, the price of Dogecoin meme has increased by 74% amid the information about the purchase of the social network. The first information that Binance would participate in the deal by providing Musk with a loan appeared in May this year.
