Binance Cryptocurrency Exchange Announces Suspension of Trading in 7 Tokens
Crypto exchange Binance has announced the delisting of 7 tokens, including: EZ, QSP, BRD, NXS, NAV, MDA, and SPARTA.
According to the official website of Binance, these cryptocurrencies no longer meet the «high standards of the exchange». The decision to remove the tokens was made after analyzing each cryptocurrency according to the following criteria:
- Commitment of the token team to the project
- The level and quality of development
- Trading volume and liquidity
- Network stability and security against attacks
- Stability of the network and smart contracts
- Level of communication with the community
- Responsiveness to periodic requests for proper performance
- Evidence of unethical or fraudulent behavior or negligence
- Contribution to a healthy and sustainable crypto ecosystem
Recently, the exchange announced its intention to delist the AMP token (Flexa network) — the decision was made after the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) recognized AMP as a security. Interestingly, the token had previously successfully passed the cryptocurrency analysis process described above. However, the recent SEC decision prompted the company to delist the token «out of an abundance of caution.» AMP deposits will be closed on August 15 at 21:00 EST, and the AMP/USD trading pair will be deleted two hours later.
