Cryptocurrency exchange Binance temporarily suspends withdrawals from the platform
The world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange has temporarily suspended withdrawals in several blockchain networks.
As it has become known, Binance users have been unable to withdraw their savings since 10:00 a.m. (Kyiv time) due to technical problems with the service provider. At the time of writing, the company’s representatives did not say when the service would be restored.
This is not the first temporary suspension of withdrawals from the exchange. In June, Binance suspended BTC withdrawals due to the accumulation of unconfirmed transactions in the mempool (for about 30 minutes). At that time, almost 30,000 bitcoin transfers were waiting for confirmation. In mid-June, withdrawals intensified on most cryptocurrency exchanges due to the fall in the value of bitcoin and other digital assets.
Also in May, Binance temporarily suspended p2p transactions due to technical work. At that time, users could not place orders, publish ads, or send messages to counterparties via Binance P2P chat.
