According to Santiment analysts, cryptocurrency wallets of ethereum whales have set a local record by increasing the volume of cryptocurrency on exchanges.

As it became known, the volume of ETH acquired by the largest holders of ethereum increased to an average of 7 million ETH, rising to its highest level since May 2021. Also, according to the BitinfoCharts service, the average daily number of transactions on the Ethereum blockchain has increased from 1.206 million to 1.25 million.

At the time of writing, Ethereum is trading at $ 1626, but according to members of the CoinMarketCap cryptocurrency community, this price will not be the highest August figure for ETH. According to the forecasts of 2685 users, ETH will trade at an average price of $ 2127 by the end of the summer. One of the reasons for such positive forecasts may be the high expectations for the upcoming update, after which the ethereum will switch to the Proof-of-Stake (PoS) algorithm. It is worth noting that in September, the crypto community expects even greater growth, with an average price of $ 2390.

Also, cryptocurrency analysts who participated in the NextAdvisor survey predicted an increase in the value of Ethereum to $ 4000 by the end of this year. According to analysts, Ethereum has every chance of costing more than 2.5 times its current value in the near future.
