Cryptocurrency fraudsters have found a new way to steal cryptocurrency
A new fraud scheme that has been used recently focuses on the behavioral habits of cryptocurrency owners — in this case, it does not involve hacking the device.
Fraudsters send small amounts of money from addresses similar to those to which the user recently made a transaction.
Take a look at the screenshot above. The user sent 423 USDT to a certain address, and immediately received 0.0001 USDT from a similar address.
The attackers' calculation is based on the fact that the next time the user will be inattentive and copy the address from the last transaction to make a transaction, and it, in turn, belongs to the fraudsters.
Theeditors recommend: be careful and always carefully check the address for sending crypto assets.
