BAYC Cryptocurrency Tokens Become the Most Expensive NFTs of 2022

At the end of 2022, the minimum price of one NFT from the Bored Abe Yacht Club (BAYC) collection reached 69 ETH (about $ 82,000). Thus, the project became the most expensive of the year among its peers.

According to analytical services, the maximum value of the BAYC token last year was approximately $ 409,000. In general, Yuga Labs projects showed the highest sales for the year: out of the 12 largest transactions, at least 8 belong to the BAYC and CryptoPunks collections.

Despite the fact that 2022 was quite difficult for many projects and the NFT market as a whole, Yuga Labs projects managed to maintain their leading position in the market.

The company itself was constantly at the center of scandals — from propaganda of Nazism to the creation of a criminal organization together with Hollywood stars.
