Today, an unknown person withdrew tokens from the Horizon cross-chain bridge, then sent the funds to another wallet and exchanged them on the Uniswap decentralized exchange. As a result, Harmony representatives temporarily suspended Horizon’s operation.
Due to the incident, the Harmony token (ONE) dropped in price by 10% per day. At the time of writing, its value is $ 0.024. Although the Harmony team assured users that the problems did not affect the trustless bridge for bitcoin, all funds are currently safe in decentralized storage.
