Cryptocurrency analyst names Ethereum’s main competitor — it’s not bitcoin

Cryptocurrency analyst Cantering Clarke named Ethereum’s main competitor on his Twitter page. According to Clarke, it is the Solana (SOL) cryptocurrency, which is showing price growth and «has no plans to stop there.»

According to Cantering Clarke, the cryptocurrency is «consolidating against resistance and preparing for its takeoff.» At the time of writing, Solana is trading at $ 47.45, up 9.40% in 24 hours. The rise in SOL’s value is driven by individual investor interest in the digital asset and the general price recovery in the cryptocurrency market.

Obviously, the value of Solana did not suffer much after the incident, despite the huge monetary losses of users. In fact, 9,232 wallets in the Solana network were affected by the cyberattack, which is still being addressed. Representatives of the Solana ecosystem conducted their own investigation into the cyberattack on crypto wallets and named the team of the cryptocurrency wallet Slope Wallet as involved in the hack. However, Slope stated that they were not involved in the cyberattack, as SlowMist and OtterSec experts found no connection between the wallet’s vulnerability and the hacked addresses.
