Cryptocurrency from BAYC will be accepted in Gucci stores

The high fashion house Gucci has announced on Twitter that it is expanding the list of cryptocurrencies that its customers can use to pay. ApeCoin can now be used to pay in branded stores in the United States.

It is worth noting that in early May, Gucci announced its intention to integrate cryptocurrencies into its retail network. At the first stage, the experiment covers only American stores of the brand.

At present, Gucci accepts ETH, BTC, SHIBA, DOGE, and the five largest stablecoins for payment. Now ApeCoin has joined the list.

This was achieved through integration with BitPay, a payment service provider. As with other cryptocurrencies, to pay with ApeCoin in a Gucci store, it is enough to scan the QR code and confirm the transaction in the crypto wallet.
