Legendary hotel offers to book rooms using NFT tokens

The NoMo SoHo hotel in New York has created an NFT for room reservations. You can book the desired room by purchasing the corresponding token on OpenSea.

Among the privileges of the new booking method are late check-out, a gift upon arrival, and free breakfast. 3−6-day NFTs are available, with prices ranging from USD 900 to USD 2000. It is worth noting that booking through NFT is cheaper than the traditional method of renting a room.

So far, no NFTs have been purchased, but the press release about the launch of the NFT program was published only yesterday. Time will tell whether this booking format will be popular. However, it is already worth noting that in addition to the American hotel, cryptocurrencies are already accepted in some Marriot hotels, Villa Natura in Ibiza and Hotel Cà di Dio in Venice.
