LG to develop TV software targeting NFT owners

Technology giant LG will develop TV software that will focus on NFT owners and their needs.

As it became known from the tweet of lawyer Michael Kondoudis, LG representatives have filed an application for registration of a new trademark LG ART LAB — all in order to launch TV software for the creation, trading, and storage of NFTs in the future. According to LG’s application filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), the company also plans to provide virtual payment services in cryptocurrency and develop its own application for crypto transactions in the meta-universe.

It seems that the company has decided to «keep up» with one of its main competitors, Samsung, which, in addition to launching its own Discord community and developing chips for cryptocurrency mining, has announced the launch of its virtual space in the Roblox meta-universe.
