LocalBitcoins stopped servicing cryptocurrency wallets of Russians

The LocalBitcoins project has released a message that makes it clear that Russians will no longer be able to use the service:

«Dear Customer,

Due to the European sanctions, LocalBitcoins will no longer be able to provide its services to users from Russia (except for dual nationals of the European Economic Area and Switzerland/residents with a permit from the EEA or Switzerland).

You can withdraw all your bitcoins in one transaction. After that, you will no longer be able to use your wallet."

It is worth noting that this is apparently only the first swallow, as centralized exchanges (CEXs) that fall under EU jurisdiction will also have to comply with the new package of sanctions.
