Logan Paul turned the world’s most expensive Pokémon card into NFT tokens
In April, video blogger, showman, actor, and amateur boxer Logan Paul made it to the Guinness Book of World Records as the owner of the world’s most expensive Pokémon card with Pikachu illustrator. It cost him 5 million 275 thousand dollars, and Paul wore it around his neck during the award ceremony at the WrestleMania wrestling show.
Now Paul has spoken about the fate of the unique card. It is available as an NFT on the Liquid Marketplace platform he founded. He sees the mission of the platform as an opportunity for collectors to «jointly own» physical and digital assets through tokenization.
Paul has turned his Pokémon card into 50 million NFT tokens, and 51% of them are up for sale at 10 cents. He will continue to own 49% of the card, which means that it will be stored in the «community vault,» but Paul will be able to wear it at WrestleMania if the majority of token holders agree.
