Major cryptocurrencies rise sharply amid US regulatory policy
The cryptocurrency market continues to show positive dynamics amid a new trade agreement between the US and the EU: Bitcoin BTC $117,975.86 Bitcoin -0.91% Market capitalization $2.35 trillion VOL. 24 hours $1.7 billion , Ethereum ETH $3,785.89 Bridged Ether (StarkGate) -1.18% Market capitalization $0.1 billion VOL. 24 hours $2.39 billion , and Dogecoin DOGE $0.23 Binance-Peg Dogecoin -4.74% Market capitalization $0.59 billion VOL. 24 hours $0.38 billion have all risen in price following news of the agreement, which helped reduce global risks for investors. Over the past day, Bitcoin has risen by 4.5% to over $ 119,000, Ethereum has added almost 9% to $ 3,900, and Dogecoin is also in the green zone.
According to analysts, the previously expected trade conflicts could have triggered a «risk-off» in global markets, i.e., the flight of investors to safe-haven assets. However, the new agreement, which covers about a third of global trade and includes a 15% tariff on European goods in the United States and additional EU commitments to purchase American energy and defense products, has significantly reduced geopolitical tensions.
Analyst Ali Martinez emphasizes that this new stage of support for risky assets could be critical for the entire crypto market, as it is the dynamics of bitcoin that continues to determine the behavior of most altcoins. He warns that it is worth keeping a close eye on the overall market situation: a sudden change in sentiment and profit-taking can quickly change the trend.
Additionally, experts draw attention to macroeconomic factors, including the expectation of decisions by the Federal Reserve and the Bank of Japan on key rates, which may affect cryptocurrency volatility in the near future. Currently, analysts are noticing an increase in interest in bitcoin from institutional investors, which also supports the overall optimism in the market.
As a result, the cryptocurrency market remains in a growth zone, and the mood of participants will be determined not only by local news but also by the overall global economic and political situation in the coming weeks.
