Almost 70% of bitcoin millionaires have lost their virtual assets

11:14 pm, June 29, 2022

Bitcoin millionaires have lost most of their assets in BTC due to a sharp drop in market prices. Thus, in the first half of 2022, the number of BTC millionaires decreased by almost 69.09%.

According to Finbold, in January 2022, there were 99,092 wallets with more than $ 1 million worth of bitcoins, and in June, there were only 30,626. However, such a decrease in the number of bitcoin millionaires in six months may not seem so significant if we look at the data from 2021. Back then, 116,139 investors owned a million in BTC.

It is the fall in the price of bitcoin that is the perfect time to buy it, according to Changpeng Zhao, CEO of Binance. The Binance CEO expressed his opinion that bitcoin has reached the bottom and stated that anyone who buys BTC now will make a big profit in the future. Earlier, Zhao also pointed to the historical chart of «bitcoin is dead» panic sentiment and emphasized that if investors always bought BTC at this exact moment, 100% would have made super profits. Changpeng Zhao is also supported by MicroStrategy, the world’s largest private owner of Cryptocurrencies, as well as a commercial one.
