Billionaires want to make 1 DOGE a condition for tweeting
Twitter is attracting more and more flamboyant billionaires. Yesterday, Mark Andreessen, co-founder of Andreessen Horowitz, asked the local community how to defeat spammers, what mechanism should be in place to recognize spam?
Andreessen was interested in the question for a reason. First of all, he cares about the platform — Ben Hurwitz and Mark Andriessen invested in it in the early stages of Twitter’s development. Secondly, there are traditionally many fake twin accounts around the persona of the Netscape creator, which post phishing links, among other things, leading to the theft of money and personal information of gullible people.
«People,» Elon Musk answered with a ready-made solution.
His idea was developed by another American billionaire, Mark Cuban, who proposed to make 1 DOGE ($ 0.13) a pledge coin on behalf of each user of the network. If your content is labeled as spammy by real people, you will lose the right to post tweets, and the people who identified the spam content will share the reward. Thus, the social network will be too expensive for spammers and they will prefer other platforms.
This is where Billy Marcus, one of the creators of DOGE, came into the picture and enthusiastically supported the idea.
Everyone seems to be working for #tuzemun DOGE
