Monobank reported a massive DDoS attack

Monobank co-founder Oleg Gorokhovsky announced on his Telegram channel that a massive DDoS attack is being launched against the bank’s services.

«Target of attack: entry points to Amazon (Banks, website). Everything is under control,» Gorokhovsky wrote.

In parallel with the cyberattack on Monobank, a hacker attack is taking place on Kyivstar, a mobile phone service provider. Users of Ukraine’s largest electronic communications operator complain about network problems and the lack of Internet access.

According to media outlet Grunt, Vodafone representatives reported a significant increase in the load on their payment system due to Kyivstar’s failure. As a result, there may be delays in crediting payments to the balance, as well as timeouts or errors on payment pages when making top-ups. The Vodafone app is also currently down.
