Major gambling platforms and exchanges stop accepting Russian payment cards
Users of gambling services and exchanges have been complaining about problems with Visa and Mastercard payments. Gaming platforms claim that the problems with transactions are the fault of the National Payment Card System (NPCS).
«Today I paid for an order, the money was debited from the card twice, but the order was not paid for, I wrote to support, they are silent,» «I just made a transfer several times. As a result, it says that the card is not supported, but somehow money was debited from my account. Can you explain how this happened?» These and dozens of similar messages from online gambling users have appeared on the forums of gaming platforms and exchanges over the past two days. Players who wanted to buy accounts, game currency, and other digital goods complain that when they paid with Visa and Mastercard, the money was debited, but the purchase did not take place.
Administrators of platforms and exchanges assure users that the problems are on the side of the National Payment Card System, which processes all domestic payments with cards of international payment systems.
«There are technical problems on the part of the NPCS. According to our partners, payments are made with a slight delay,» say administrators of the FunPay gaming account exchange. «The NCCP, the only payment gateway in the country that processes all payments in the country, has gone down,» was the response to complaints from users of another gambling platform.
